WAFCA 2010 Awards announced

0

The Washington Area Film Critics Association, a prestigious and respectable group of film critics who accidentally let me into their ranks a few years ago and haven’t been able to get rid of me, released their WAFCA Awards today. Since I had a hand in the voting sharing the results is naturally something I must do.

I can tell you right now that while most of the nominations were very deserving none of my top selections actually won. I enjoyed The Social Network, but didn’t think it was better than Black Swan or 127 Hours, and I really thought Inception should have been knocked off the nomination list all together, but this is the power of voting.

Below you will find all the awards, which pretty much mirror the Oscars categories. Winners are in bold with the rest of the nominees in regular typeface. Let us know what you think.
