Watch Hans Zimmer play the Inception soundtrack live at Coachella

As we reported last year, acclaimed film composer and BWAAMaster General Hans Zimmer is going on tour. The world tour included a stop at Coachella, because when I think of Coachella, I think of BWAAAAM.

If you’re wondering how Zimmer’s set went, you can check out this video from it featuring selections from the soundtrack to Inception. There’s the quintessential BWAAM drone theme from the film as well as the pounding, percussive overdrive of “Mombasa”.

In addition the above, Zimmer also played selections from The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Gladiator. Pharrell Williams then came out and did a song with him because of course Pharrell showed up it’s Coachella. Zimmer will be back at Coachella this weekend because the festival has expanded two weekends.

Wonder if that Greek diner I went to 13 years ago is still there.
