While there was no new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, there was a special behind-the-scenes reel that was screened for the packed crowd at Hall H. The behind-the-scenes footage emphasizes the practical effects of the new Star Wars film, and has a couple of new and familiar faces.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Comic-Con 2015 Reel

Guys! It’s Nien Nunb!

According to The AV Club, the reel made Chris Hardwick cry. (Probably because of seeing Nien Nunb.)

Also, Star Wars the Flamethrower™!

Following the behind-the-scenes footage, cast members Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Domhnall Gleeson, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford took the stage. Ford received a raucous ovation and is reportedly doing okay after surviving an Indiana Jones-style plane crash earlier this year.

J.J. Abrams then invited the entire Hall H crew to a free Star Wars concert, with a group of stormtroopers on hand to escort the crowd to the event.

Share your thoughts on the Comic-Con reel in the comments. Feel free to nerd out over Nien Nunb as well.
