Watch this short adaptation of Black Hole

Black Hole is a pretty awesome graphic novel from a few years back all about a teenager in the 70s navigating the usual high school tropes: drugs, girls, and an STD that causes insane physical mutations. It’s also been in development since not too long after its release, with Neil Gaiman and Roger Avary on script duties and both Alexander Aja and David Fincher attached to direct at different points. Now, there’s not a lot of news around the project, especially with Gaiman and Avery off the project.

However, Rupert Sanders, currently working on Snow White and the Huntsman, made a short film adaptation, and it’s pretty cool. The acting’s not all there, but it really very clearly captures the tone of the graphic novel. You can watch it here, on Sanders’s website, but be advised that it is super, super NSFW. There’s nudity and chicks with tails and all kinds of things you don’t want your boss seeing.
