By One of my biggest issues with X-Men: Days of Future Past was how many characters it tried to squeeze into its movie (which is why I’m always worrying about the sequel, Apocalypse, which is ramping up that number everyday). And it was only a matter of time before one of them got cut. Over the course of editing, Anna Paquin’s only scene as Rogue was cut from the final film after a brief back and forth with an ultimate decision stating it wasn’t needed.
If you wanted to see the scene, Fox has got you covered. They’ll be releasing a special “Rogue Cut” of Days of Future Past on home video July 14th. I ended up really liking the final film overall, despite its problems, so we’ll see what this can add to it.
