Box Office Numbers: Not-So Incredible Burt Wonderstone

I apologize for the lack of a Box Office Numbers last week. It had absolutely nothing to do with being in Austin, TX for SXSW (honestly). When I tried to access Rentrak, the site I use to compile every weekend’s ticket sales, it was down. It kind of sucked, too, because a lot of big films came out last weekend. Oh well. As SXSW begins to wind down as I type this, we still have a few more SXSW-related surprises for you this week!

Oz the Great and Powerful is a repeat offender as the box office king. This weekend’s newcomers, The Call and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, came in at second and third place, respectively. I was hoping the magic comedy would place higher, but third place is still admirable.

The rest of this weekend’s box office numbers are below.
