Boyle and Fassbender team up to Trance you

See, guys? Even Danny Boyle appreciates how rocking we are. Speaking of Danny Boyle, he recently announced his latest project, and it sounds like a doozy. The film is called Trance, is being called tonally similar to Boyle’s earlier works, like Shallow Grave and Trainspotting. It, “will follow the story of an assistant at an auction house who masterminds a heist and teams up with a gang of thieves only to suffer a blow to the head and wake up with amnesia. As the only person who knew the location of the stolen painting, the assistant is then subjected to analysis from a hypnotist as the gang begin to suspect duplicity.” While the film won’t release until 2013, Michael Fassbender has already been cast as the leader of the gang.

This movie had me at “tonally similar to Shallow Grave and Trainspotting.” While we’re going to have to wait a while for this, I am so psyched to see it, whenever I do.
