Classic outfits from class films in stylish pictures

At some point the clothes an actor wears in a film can become iconic. You see them and you instantly think of that film, that actor or that character. Such is the case for the clothing laid out below you in the photos of Candice Milon taken for Sport & Style, a French publication. The photos were meant to show off how you could get the style yourself by spending way more money than any of the characters actually had to spend on clothes, but the real fun is seeing if you can guess them all.

I’ll admit that there are two in there that are iconic, but they aren’t really iconic without the actors who played them wearing the outfits. Without those actors in them they could really be for a plethora of movies. I don’t want to spoil anything here so the answers are below the fold for you to check out.

Let us know how many you got.

Gray: Marty McFly, Back to the Future
Red: Rick Blaine, Casablanca
Orange: Alex, A Clockwork Orange
Green: Forrest Gump, Forrest Gump
Black: Jake or Elwood Blues, The Blues Brothers
Blue: Gordon Gekko, Wall Street
Yellow: Jim Stark, Rebel Without a Cause

See the Casablanca one and the Wall Street one don’t really speak to those characters exactly. Of course since the point of the shoot was not to be a guessing game, but to tell you how to dress like the characters I suppose that doesn’t really make a difference. I’m just saying that the outfits selected might be iconic, but they don’t all work for the Internet guessing game that we’re playing. Why didn’t they think about us, huh?
