Latest trailer for The Crown teases Thatcher and Diana in Season Four

If you love British history and drama, Netflix’s smash hit The Crown is gearing up for what is sure to be its most intriguing season yet. The full trailer for Season 4 made its debut today and it did not disappoint in the slightest.

We finally see Margaret Thatcher (played by Gillian Anderson) and Princess Diana (played by Emma Corrin) in action along with some memorable lines and dialogue that is to come up this season.

I actually did not start watching The Crown until COVID-19 hit and I managed to finish all three seasons right before this one is set to air on Netflix. Fans of the series have been waiting to see Corrin’s Diana on the show and the teaser shot from the last trailer just didn’t cut it. It is striking how well they did on casting her for Diana and we truly get more insight into her entry into Royal life.

I feel this season is trying to get us to pity Prince Charles a little more as the black sheep of the family who is 30 and unmarried at this point in the series. We know he is still heartbroken over Camilla but is forced into marriage with Diana. More of the main characters do seem to be fighting back against the archaic stiff upper lip attitude of the Royals this season — especially Diana, Charles, and Thatcher. It seems Elizabeth will be in even more hot water this season than in previous ones, especially when it comes to Diana.

There are so many amazing moments in this trailer that it makes the wait for season four that much more exciting.  The one scene I am the most excited to see is Diana and Charles’ wedding as well as their tour in Australia. Be sure to catch up on previous seasons if you haven’t already and get ready for The Crown Season 4 on November 15, 2020.
