Mark Wahlberg, Justin Bieber to make movie magic together

The other day, I was wondering how amazing a Marky Mark and J. Biebs duet would be. Justin could pose off to the side with his high-tilted 59/50 while Marky Mark would shadowbox in front of shattered glass and do backflips in puddles of water. The song would be about how tough it is finding love in the mean streets of Boston. It’d be perfect and probably sell millions.

Well, that dream is one step closer to becoming a reality. In an exclusive interview with Vulture, Wahlberg hinted at a film collaboration with Bieber, stating:

Well, we’re putting it together. Yeah. We’re doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea and, you know, we’re talking about doing it. He loves the idea. He’s been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he’s really talented. […] More of a drama. It’s interesting, right? You want to know. They’ll probably announce it. They may announce it fairly soon … kind of like a reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment. You know, I don’t want to say.

Unfortunately, he was quick to douse any flaming rumors of a potential song-and-dance number. Honestly, Wahlberg can do whatever he wants at this point in his career. Without fail, he’ll always bring that tough guy image to every role he takes on. As for Bieber… I heard he got his haircut recently.
