Marvel’s Doctor Strange gets the 8-Bit Cinema treatment, looks a little like Mega Man

I really liked Doctor Strange. While lots of the MCU tends to blend together visually and tonally, Strange had tilty fractals and psychedelic wonder, and on the whole the film felt more like a kung fu movie than just a standard-issue comic book origin story. To date, the film has earned more than $600 million worldwide.

Like all big movies, 8-Bit Cinema has done their own version of the film. It was bound to happen, you cannot escape it.

Check it out the 8-Bit Cinema version of Doctor Strange below. SPOILERS if you haven’t seen the film.

Doctor Strange - 8 Bit Cinema

Don’t the fake sprites sort of remind you of Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 3?

Jumping?

Sliding?

A-walkin’ and a-talkin’?

A-runnin’ and a-gunnin’?

A-lovin’ and a-kissin’?
