Wow. What. A. Lineup. Joining the likes of Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Casey Affleck, (possibly) John Lithgow, and Jessica Chastain is Matt Damon (fresh off the heels of his big budget science film that tanked). Matt Damon joins the film for a brief stint in an undisclosed role (since the majority of Interstellar is still being kept frustratingly under wraps) and I couldn’t be happier since I have a lot of hype for a film that isn’t a sequel or a reboot or some sort.
Also of note is that Damon’s directorial debut will be for a film titled The Foreigner, in which a man murdered in Guatemala leaves behind a videotape incriminating his family and government. Who else is excited for Interstellar? You think Scotty still doesn’t know?
