MythBusters Kari, Tory, and Grant return in the trailer for Netflix’s White Rabbit Project

I was such a massive fan of MythBusters in its glory years. While Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman were the undeniable captains of the ship, the build team of Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, and Grant Imahara had such a great group dynamic. The trio could easily carry half of the show on their own.

That might be why I was so intrigued by the announcement of Netflix’s White Rabbit Project. The show reunites the MythBusters build team and lets them do their own thing, which is to say make ‘slposions. Now there’s a trailer for the show, which comes out next week. Yes, the trailer has ‘splosions in it.

White Rabbit Project may wind up being the proper successor to MythBusters, blending pop science and urban legends with the madcap fun of creating weird machines and making stuff blow up real good. Curious what the show format will be and how they’ll structure their experiments. All that’s known right now is that the episodes will feature the sorts of topics you’d discover if you fell down an internet rabbit hole.
