Netflix is getting a horror movie from the director of Nightcrawler

Netflix has announced that an upcoming horror movie will be making the rounds on the streaming service later this year. While the title is still unknown, an exclusive with Variety reveals the starring cast and its director. Helmed by Nightcrawler writer/director Dan Gilroy, the new endeavor reunites the Academy Award-winning director with Jake Gyllenhaal and Rene Russo, both of whom received rave reviews for their performance in Gilroy’s directorial debut. Gyllenhaal was nominated for Actor in a Leading Role but lost out to Eddie Redmayne.

Russo and Gyllenhaal will be sharing the screen with John Malkovich, Zawe Ashton, Stranger Things star Natalie Dyer, Tom Sturridge, Daveed Diggs, Toni Collette, and Billy Magnussen. The synopsis so far is vague, but the film is set to dive into the world of artists, art collectors, and the high stakes involved when art and greed collide.
