Netflix Now: Shaken, Not Stirred Edition

Okay, you see what you’re doing here Netflix? You’re screwing with me. One week it’s 20 new movies to stream, the next week it’s 300. How about spacing them out a little, hm?

This week it’s Bond, Bond, Bond; a slew of the secret agent’s films are now available at your convenience, covering the entirety of the George Lazenby (On His Majesty’s Secret Service), Roger Moore (Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to Kill), and Timothy Dalton (The Living Daylights, Licence to Kill) years, plus the second half of Sean Connery’s career (Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever). With non-EON Productions entries Casino Royale (original), Casino Royale (Climax! TV special), and the new addition of Never Say Never Again (Sean Connery’s last take on the character), almost every Bond movie prior to the Pierce Brosnan years is available except for the first three EON films (Dr. No, From Russia with Love, Goldfinger). Maybe you should put those up next week, Netflix? Just for completion’s sake, I mean.

There are lots of other good picks here, including Peter Jackson’s zombie masterpiece Dead Alive (Braindead to the rest of the world), the classic Gone with the Wind, Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate, Hot Tub Time Machine, Toy Story 3, and Young@Heart. Also, there is a landslide of concerts and profiles of country, blues, and folk musicians, taking up at least a third of the new choices.

Hit the jump to see the list and let us know what looks good to you!

New additions to Netflix Watch Instantly apply only to readers in the United States. For those in other parts of the world, your choices may vary.
