Netflix’s She-Ra ending with its fifth season on May 15th

All good things must come to an end and sadly that is what is happening to Netflix’s hit show She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. The showrunner behind the rebooted classic, Noelle Stevenson, confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that Season 5 will indeed be the last. The last season will air on Netflix on May 15 and last for 13 episodes, so for those desperate for new content you can rest easy knowing you will get a brand new season soon. In a time where everything is getting delayed, this is welcome news for many eager viewers.

Sadly, it’s ending but it did have a good run. I remember when it first came to Netflix back in 2018. I was at NYCC and myself and a co-worker here at Flixist (Ed’s note: this someone also loves this show and reviews every season cough cough coughgot to check out the sick interactive exhibit complete with free swords and pins. You can check out my coverage on that here. Although She-Ra was way before my time, I still knew about her and He-Man thanks to my older brother who collected all the old figures and even Castle Greyskull. For those of us spending a lot of time at home right now, it’s probably a good time as any to catch up on previous seasons before the final one airs. Thanks Netflix for a great reboot of a classic.
