New Hobbit production video is out on location in NZ

Just a few days ago, the first trailer for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey dropped. Seems Peter Jackson wasn’t done with Hobbit-related stuff this week however. The latest production video blog provides a glimpse at the challenges and joys of shooting on location in New Zealand. The logistics of it all are pretty fascinating, and you get a little look at the reconstruction of Hobbiton and a tease of barrel riding.

Since we did’t get to showcase it earlier in the week, I’ve included the first official poster for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in the gallery. Be at peace, sons and daughters of Gondor — be at peace.
