Paul Walker’s brothers stepping in to help with Fast & Furious 7

The Fast and Furious films have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I don’t have to have a reason; they were just a ton of fun. When I set up my first entertainment center, I used the opening race from 2 Fast 2 Furious to test the bass. I even managed to convince my brother to check out the series, which was no easy task.

When Paul Walker tragically passed away last November, apart from being sad, I, like many others, wondered what they had planned to do with his character, Brian O’Connor. Production is just now resuming after his untimely death last November, and we now have our answer.

In an announcement on the Fast and Furious Facebook page, someone from the crew stated “Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too.”

It’s a great move by the production team, and hopefully his character gets the send-off he truly does. Paul Walker was a great actor and an even better human, starting the charity Reach Out Worldwide to help those that have been impacted by a natural disaster.

Fast and Furious 7 opens next Spring.

Rest in Peace, Paul.
