By After breaking Kickstarter records, the new cast of Mystery Science Theater 3000 has found a home. And no, I’m not talking about the Satellite of Love. They announced during San Diego Comic-Con that the MST3K revival will be on Netflix.
The cast of Jonah Ray, Felicia Day, Patton Oswalt, Hampton Yount, and Baron Vaughn will be joined by a few familiar faces. Mary Jo Pehl, Bill Corbett, and Kevin Murphy are set to return to the show. THR suggested they’d reprise their MST3K roles, which likely means the return of Pearl Forrester, Brain Guy, and Bobo, respectively.
Rounding out the talent on board: series creator Joel Hodgson will write and produce alongside Community stalwarts Joel McHale and Dan Harmon. Adam Savage of Mythbusters will be along for the ride doing special effects.
