The Witcher | Official Teaser | Netflix

It’s been a long time coming but the official trailer for Netflix’s fantasy series The Witcher is here. Fans who loved both the book series and video game series can finally see Henry Cavill in action. The epic trailer made its debut at this year’s San Diego Comic Con and boy is it a lot to take in. Basically, this is Geralt of Rivias’s origin story come to life outside the books and games and I personally am pumped. This looks fantastic and clearly, Netflix spared no expense in putting this together.

The trailer also features Ciri (Freya Allan), and Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and they look accurately portrayed as well.  The full cast includes; Maciej Musial (Sir Lazlo), Anna Shaffer (Triss), Joey Batey (Jaskier), Millie Brady (Princess Renfri), MyAnna Buring (Tissaia), and Tom Canton (Filavandrel). I predict this going to be an epic win for Netflix and fans alike due to the newfound popularity of the series, though viewership numbers will certainly determine how popular it’s going to be. Get ready Witcher fans it’s going to be a wild ride.

The Witcher will air sometime in 2019.
