The World’s End US release moved earlier

Woo! Not entirely ‘woo’ for those from Britland, such as myself, but still ‘woo’ nonetheless. Mr Wright, Pegg and Frost’s final Cornetto trilogy feature The World’s End will now be releasing August 23 (previously October 25). Us Brits will still get the treat on August 14 before all of you Americanos get to savor one last lick of Peggfrostwrightacular goodness.

This move to a Summer release means there’s a lot of confident executives patting themselves on the back which probably means we’re in for a great movie. Although that’s already a given since Wright and company are on board. I’m glad after Scott Pilgrim‘s box office meh-ness that Hollywood still has great faith on one of the greatest directors working today.
