To All the Boys I Loved Before sequel gets first trailer

It’s not quite clear what’s going to happen in the To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You from the first trailer but it’s definitely full of teenage romance of one sort or the other. The trailer is a bit of a mess for the sequel. It seems she’s going into a dream thing at one point where she may fall in love with one of the other boys from the original or maybe there’s another love interest in the form of the final boy she sent a letter. It’s a little bit of a mess plotwise.

The official plot description says, “Lara Jean and Peter have just taken their romance from pretend to officially real when another recipient of one of her love letters enters the picture.” So I guess that’s what’s happening but this trailer doesn’t represent that too much.

What is clear is that the charm seems to be back. The thing that made the first movie so good, and a big winner for Netflix was the strength and charm of its leads, Lana Condor and Noah Centineo. With those two returning hopefully we’ll get another surprisingly enjoyable teen rom-com and, as most in the genre are, another dud.

To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You will release on Netflix.
