The Woman in Black was a competently done horror film that offered up some pretty good scares and then went along its way to be mostly forgotten. Or so we thought. Hammer, the production company behind the film, though differently so here comes the sequel and a trailer for the sequel.
If they’re going for creepy here they should have got a better kid to narrate this thing. With a new director and a feel that’s more schlock horror than the tonal terror that the original grasped at this isn’t really exciting me. I suppose the titular woman is pretty scary as is the old house, but this is one of those situations where well enough should have been left alone.
