Although I still feel like I’m in my prime, I can hear the cold wind of age forty approaching me. This is 40 wants me to believe that old age won’t be all bad. I don’t have children or a hot wife, so the premise of this film (old man and wife enjoy life as they get older…blah blah) doesn’t exactly hit home. If the trailer looks good to you, you might be forty at heart. Also if you’re forty at heart, you should probably go buy some Centrium.
This is the second trailer released for the film that features Apatow’s children and they are already starting to wear thin. This is also a somewhat sequel to Knocked Up since it features the same family, so the only reason I’m probably going to see this is for the inevitable Seth Rogen cameo. That guy is bees knees.
