Two short Toy Story TV specials planned for 2013 and 2014

Are you still wiping your tears away from Toy Story 3‘s ending? Are your DVDs, Blu-Rays, and VHS tapes getting worn out because you’re worried you’d never see your favorite toys again? FEAR NOT, for Disney and Pixar have just the things for diehard Woody and Buzz fans. Rather than rush out another, possibly unnecessary sequel, it has been revealed that Pixar is planning to release two 22-minute TV specials revolving around the famous group of toys. There’s no word on what the content will consist of, but they are tentatively scheduled for release in 2013 and 2014, and most likely on Disney-owned channels, including ABC and The Disney Channel. I’m personally gunning for a sports-related, ESPN-branded special myself.

How do you guys feel about the return to the toy box? Do you feel positive about the plans, or do you feel that Pixar should develop a level of lactose intolerance when it comes to Toy Story?
