Mondo, the collectible movie art distributor and gallery branch of Austin’s fabled Alamo Drafthouse theater, has announced that their upcoming end-of-October gallery show will feature works centered around iconic “Universal Monsters.” In other words, monsters that were first brought to film by the Universal film company beginning in the 1930s and 40s, such as Frankenstein, Dracula, The Wolf Man, and The Mummy among others.

Legendary poster artist Drew Struzan will be returning to Mondo with new, original works, as well as well-known special effects designer Rick Baker. Below you can find a sampling of some of the original art that will be on display at the show. Details on the show and the artwork after the jump!
