Netflix has released the first look at their upcoming animated series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers and it looks… well it doesn’t look like much of anything just yet.
The series follows in the footsteps of the likes of other DreamWorks Animation series made for Netflix like the upcoming Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Taking big franchises and making them streaming-size seems to be going well for Netflix, so why not Fast & Furious?
Details are sparse, and so there’s no inclination as to whether staple characters like Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) or Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), but I would suspect a fresh set of speedsters to be headed our way. The next feature film in the franchise, the spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, is set for an August 2nd release this summer. Until we hear more on Spy Racers, stay tuned here for your deadly driving needs.
