By This is how my mind works. Today, we posted some stories about musicals. We also posted a story about casting for The Hobbit. So, naturally, I was reminded of the scene above, largely because of the part where the steward says, “Go on, sing me a song.” Why? I don’t know. Like I said: it’s how my mind works.
It could also be a product of the fact that someone drove a car into me today. Yeah, that’s something that happened. I’m fine, but auto collisions tend to put me in a mood. Not a bad mood, just a mood. One where I tend to think of movie scenes with singing hobbits.
So I’ll just leave you for now with The Pippin Serenade as well as all of the goodness that got posted on December 7th, 2010. Also, if you drive, please don’t run into me with a car tomorrow. Or tonight while I sleep for that matter, but being on the third floor, that’d take some serious talent.
