Aliens kill a bunch of birds in teaser for Rick and Morty co-creator’s Solar Opposites

They say that opposites don’t attract, but sometimes they do, because that’s how magnets work. Perhaps this little-known science fact explains how an alien family crash-lands on a craphole planet like Earth in the above teaser for Solar Opposites.

This crude and freewheeling animated comedy is from Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the very smart person-magnet Rick and Morty, and may serve as Hulu’s answer to The Midnight Gospel as both are adult-oriented animated comedies from heavy-hitting mainstream talents. Though Solar Opposites could provide plenty of over-the-top glee, I have to admit I’m much more into The Midnight Gospel‘s art style.

Chances are none of us have to choose, however, since most people have some kind of access to both Netflix and Hulu. We can feel free to binge away on some grimy and gross alien antics when all episodes of Solar Opposites land on Hulu on May 8, 2020.
