How much are you willing to pay for a movie ticket?

So… you may have been expecting a question related to the whole 4th of July thing that’s pretty popular right now, but like a good American I totally forgot that it was coming up until two days prior, when I already had received the video submissions for editing.

Whoops.

So instead we’re talking about something else that’s American: capitalism. And by that I mean the cost of movie tickets. Ticket costs are steadily rising, and everyone has a point where they’ll just refuse to buy tickets (George Lucas thinks it’s $150). With certain films in metropolitan areas, it costs almost as much to see the movie as to buy it on Blu-ray day one. That’s crazy.

So what about our lovely staff members? How much are we willing to pay for the theatrical experience, one many of us have admitted to preferring? I guess you’ll have to watch the video and find out. Spoiler alert: Matt’s a jerk.

But more importantly: what about you? What’s your ticket price threshold? Let us know in the comments below! And you should also totally subscribe to our YouTube channel. It’s not the most impressive thing on the internet, but we’re working on it, damn it!
