List of Lego sets potentially spoils Man of Steel villain

Brick Set, an essential catalog of Lego products and sets, posted a list of “Super Heroes; year 2013” recently that revealed a few new Batman Lego sets, a couple of Iron Man 3 sets, and more Superman focused sets that will most likely be awesome (I ended up paying fifty dollars for the Helicarrier set myself because I wanted a little Lego Hulk, and that turned out to be the best decision ever).

Here’s the list. Be wary of potential spoilers for Iron Man 3 and Man of Steel (with the most spoilerific of the bunch in bold italics):

76000 Arctic Batman vs. Mr.Freeze – Aquaman on Ice
76001 Batman vs. Bane – Chase with Tumbler
76002 Superman Metropolis Showdown
76003 Superman Battle of Smallville
76004 Spider-Man – Hunting with Spider-Cycle
76005 Spider-Man – Mission at Daily Bugle
76006 Iron Man Extremis
76007 Iron Man Malibu Mansion
76008 Iron Man vs Mandarin
76009 Superman Black Zero Escape

Now while the Superman sets might be non-movie specific (like the most recent Lex Luthor set), it stands to reason that since Dark Knight Rises is getting a set and “Black Zero” is such an obscure villain (Black Zero once destroyed Krypton and then faded into comic obscurity because comics) to pull out of nowhere (why not Zod, Doomsday, Darkseid, or Toyman?), the Superman sets could tie into the upcoming Man of Steel because money makes sense.

To go with all of these possible Man of Steel spoilers, Tony Stark’s new armor has been confirmed (it could even be the bumblebee armor!). The Extremis virus’s involvement with the plot of the third film has been rumored for awhile (it’s a nanotechnology virus which Tony stark eventually uses and allows him to mentally control his armor), so this set helps to confirm it along with the Mandarin and his house blowing up (which we’ve already known for awhile). Although these sets may have given away plot points of two upcoming blockbusters, I don’t really care. I’m just going to be so broke by that point because I’m a man child that wants my Lego Hulk to fight my Lego Superman…and it will be the greatest thing ever.
