A select group of major comic book stores received something special in yesterday’s mail– a professional looking poster for an upcoming Wonder Twins movie, starring none other than real-life power couple Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Though it is doubtless that millions would flock to see Kunis and Kutcher portray alien twins Zan and Jayna on the big screen, Warner Bros.’ reason for distributing this amazing work of art is still unclear. Many are calling the poster a hoax and, with a 2014 release date and zero publicity until now, I am (sadly) inclined to agree.

Needless to say, the poster screams publicity stunt, but for what? Some speculate that it is linked to the upcoming Entourage feature film, considering this wouldn’t be the first time Entourage has created a fake superhero movie.
Hoax or no, Warner Bros. should take a long, hard look in the mirror and consider making Wonder Twins a serious venture. Cast Jake Gyllenhaal as the twin’s pet space-monkey Gleek and I would die watching this thing on repeat.
