As you in America know, we folks love us some deals. Some of us love the thrill of a cheap deal so much, we’re willing to strike each other and act our worst for them. Because most retailers opened at 10PM Thanksgiving to cash in on the Black Friday shopping madness last year, this year most of those stores will open at 5PM on the actual holiday because they’re so strapped for cash that they just can’t afford to stay closed. Luckily I no longer work for a place that gives a sh*t about BF, so I’ll be enjoying my Thanksgiving in peace. I’ll probably be watching Netflix Instant.
Speaking of Netflix, this week Only God Forgives (a film I didn’t like, but you should see anyway), Frances Ha (a movie Hubes once loved), and Fun Size (a Halloween film that couldn’t stand out more if it tried) hit. If anime is your thing, a bunch of them have returned to the service (Fullmetal Alchemist, Rosario + Vampire) after a licensing hiatus.
