New Releases Tuesday: 3-15-2011 (featuring Sharktopus)

Sharktopus is out on DVD and Blu-ray today. For those of you that don’t know, it’s a Sci-Fi SyFy Channel original movie about the guy whose loins gave us Emma Roberts versus a genetically engineered half-shark, half-octopus, or ‘sharktopus.’ If that doesn’t get your heart pumping, check your pulse, because you might be dead (and also a terrorist).

In less Sharktopus-related news, the only real new releases are the Wahlberg/Bale masterpiece The Fighter and Hereafter, the Matt Damon movie where he sees dead people or something. The Switch, the Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman movie about about a guy who switches sperm samples so the chick he loves (and put him in the friend zone) will have his child, also came out, and until today, I forgot it existed at all. How about that?

Some other stuff came out too, but honestly, Sharktopus is out today. Does anything else, ever, in the entire world, matter? Hit the jump for the full list of releases and as always, what will you be buying this week (spoiler alert: you’ll be buying Sharktopus)?
