Are you excited to check out Ridley Scott’s The Martian? If so, it might not be a terrible idea to pass on the newest trailer for the adaptation of Andy Weir’s hit novel, due out in October. In short, the new trailer isn’t playing coy at all – it gives away a good chunk of the film’s plot, if not many of the specifics. Check it out below, if you dare:
Basically, The Martian focuses on Mark Watney (Matt Damon), an astronaut who’s left for dead on a manned mission to Mars and must survive for up to four years until a rescue mission can be mounted. The Martian also stars Kate Mara, Sebastian Stan, Kristen Wiig, Jessica Chastain, Sean Bean, Michael Peña, Donald Glover and, like, so many other people.
