NYC: Paley Center starts David Bowie: Sound + Vision series this weekend

David Bowie’s death just days after the release of Blackstar was a painful shock to many. To celebrate his life, The Paley Center for Media in New York will reprise its 2002 screening series David Bowie: Sound + Vision. Taking its name from one of Bowie’s secret-best songs, the series will feature David Bowie music videos, interviews, concert footage, and rare outtakes spanning his career from 1964-2002.

On Saturday the 16th, 23rd, and 30th, you can catch David Bowie: Sound + Vision 1964-1982, chronicling the Ziggy Stardust era, the Thin White Duke era, the Berlin era, and his appearances on Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show.

On Sunday the 17th, 24th, and 31st, you can catch David Bowie: Sound + Vision 1983-2002, chronicling David Bowie’s 80s output, his work with Tin Machine, and his sonic comeback during the 90s.
