Pom Klementeiff joins the cast of Mission: Impossible 7 and 8

Pom Klementieff, made famous for her role as “Mantis” in the MCU films, has officially joined the cast of Mission: Impossible 7 and 8. The news was confirmed by a series of Tweets between her and M:I 7/8 director Christopher McQuarrie. Not much is known about her role other than a vague hint of being a “femme fatale.”

In fact, we don’t even know much about this duo of films. The only real news we’ve gotten is a general release date for both (summer 2021 and 2022, respectively). Klementieff is attached to both, so she’s likely to become a new partner for Tom Cruises “Ethan Hunt.” She at least has a history of being in action films, having appeared in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies and Avengers: Infinity War.

Whether or not she’ll retain the sense of humor remains to be seen. Even in her personal life, Klementieff is quite the jokester. It would be a waste of her talents to turn her into a generic female assassin.
