Seven Dwarfs cast in Relativity’s Snow White

Yesterday we told you that Relativity Media’s untitled Snow White film that’s being directed by Tarsem Singh bumped up its release date to March 2012. Today, the word is that all seven dwarfs have officially been cast for the film. Check out below the jump for the full casting information!

The description of the film says that an evil queen has stolen a kingdom and it’s up to an exiled princess to claim her right to the throne after enlisting the help of “seven resourceful rebels”. If any of you remember Jenika Katz‘s Princess Review of the Disney Snow White, you’d remember that we’re used to seeing a demure, even two-dimensional Snow White, and Tarsem’s untitled Snow White film seems at least to be making the princess more of a strong, rebellious leader-type character. Which could be really cool.

The cast of seven dwarfs is as follows: Mark Povinelli, Jordan Prentice, Danny Woodburn, Sebastian Saraceno, Ronald Lee Clark, Martin Klebba, and Joey Gnoffo. We are not sure who is going to play which dwarf yet, or if the dwarfs will even have the familiar emotional tropes we’ve come to associate with the Snow White story. My only question is, why not Warwick Davis?
