Trailer: Catch .44

When crime boss Mel (Bruce Willis) sends waitress/thief Tes (Malin Akerman) out to intercept a drug deal with her cohorts, she figures it’ll be an easy job. This is before she learns that she is not the only one on the job, and Mel planned more than just a drug deal. Forest Whitaker also shows up because paychecks. Oh hey, the title is like a double catch 22 and also a gun! I see what they did there.

I don’t know if it’s something wrong with me, but all these action trailers look the same to me. I’ve pointed out what I thought was an uninspiring action trailer to people before just to be told that it looked awesome. But hey, that’s what makes the world so interesting! In this case, it looks like I’m not the only one who’s not terribly excited for this movie. Catch .44 will only be coming to theaters in New York City and (bizarrely) to Charlotte, North Carolina on December 9th, and will be going straight to DVD/Blu-Ray on December 20th.
