Trailer: The Campaign

The Campaign really couldn’t be coming at a better time, with this election seemingly more ridiculous-feeling than any I can remember in my short voting life. Will Ferrell plays a career politician, who’s skated by while running uncontested until the soft-spoken, kinda weird Zach Galifinakis shows up to take a shot at the throne. It looks like there’s some good potential for satirizing the insanity of the political theater. I think I caught a shot in there where they seem to be debating on a stage better suited for a Spinal Tap show than a North Carolina congressional race, so it’s safe to say this thing’s going to get pretty over the top.

Also, c’mon, Will Ferrell’s going to punch a baby.
