The Malcolm in the Middle cast is reuniting for an online script reading

Malcolm in the Middle

Life isn’t always unfair, it seems. Actor Bryan Cranston recently revealed that the cast of Malcolm in the Middle will be reuniting via Zoom to do a script reading for the show’s 20th anniversary. In a Tweet from his official Twitter account, he stated that the cast will be reading the pilot episode while raising money for charity. All proceeds will be heading to “Healing California,” a charity that provides free health care to those in need.

The reading will take place this Saturday, August 8, at an undisclosed time. Viewers will be able to bid in a raffle that will net them signed memorabilia from Malcolm in the Middle. The cast will even give you a call out during the stream as well as answer any questions you might have. You can find all of the auction details over on CharityBuzz.

This may not exactly be the type of reunion that fans were expecting, but it’ll be great to see what everyone has gotten up to. Cranston’s career was already storied before his tenure on the show, but it seemingly took off in the years since. Breaking Bad’s Walter White replaced Malcolm in the Middle’s Hal as the defining role of his career.
