Netflix trailer for Game Over, Man! … Think Workaholics meets Die Hard

Workaholics, the vehicle that made Blake Anderson, Adam Devine, and Anders Holm household faces, if not names, ended its run on Comedy Central in 2017, after 7 seasons. It was a bittersweet moment–a successful run, as many shows don’t get that type of longevity, but sad to see the triumvirate end their reign together, presumably to continue to pursue individual projects.

But the trio can’t stay apart, it seems, and now they’ll be back to grace screens worldwide on March 23, when they jump ship for Netflix (like everybody else, seemingly) in Game Over, Man! It looks to follow the plot of Die Hard with regularity: just trade out a street-wise New York cop for 3 idiot savant (or just plain idiot) waiters.

The trailer, despite having built-in intrinsic love for all things Blake-Adam-Anders (have you heard their wizard rap music album Purple Magic? Check it out!), wasn’t exactly killing it, but picked up steam towards the end, culminating with what promised to make this an immediate must-watch (“I shot near you, bitch.”) comedy.
